The Case of Nahir Galarza | Marks Unexplained World (Ep. 128)
The Nahir Galarza case was an Argentine judicial process, officially called "Galarza, Nahir Mariana s/homicidio doblemente agravado", in which the 19-year-old Nahir Mariana Galarza was convicted of murdering her 20-year-old boyfriend Fernando Pastorizzo, at dawn on the 29th of December 2017, in the city of Gualeguaychú, Entre Ríos, Argentina, where both lived.
The case was widely covered by both national and international media. Galarza was sentenced to life imprisonment for homicide, which was aggravated by the fact that she and Pastorizzo were under a stable relationship.

The Dark Side of the Mother Earth Cult | Marks Unexplained World (Ep. 126)
Love Has Won is an American new religious movement which was led by Amy Carlson, who is referred to within the group as "Mother God", who described herself as, among other things, the creator of the universe.
The group has been described as a cult by many, including ex-members and media outlets. Ex-members accused the group of physical abuse and sleep deprivation, with members allegedly only being allowed to sleep for 4–5 hours a night.
The Saguache County Sheriff's Office reported that they had received "many complaints" about the group from families, about "brainwashing" and fraud.

Genie Wiley is the pseudonym of an American feral child who was a victim of severe abuse, neglect, and social isolation.
Her circumstances are prominently recorded in the annals of linguistics and abnormal child psychology.
When she was approximately 20 months old, her father began keeping her in a locked room.
During this period, he almost always strapped her to a child's toilet or bound her in a crib with her arms and legs immobilized, forbade anyone to interact with her, provided her with almost no stimulation of any kind, and left her severely malnourished.
Her abuse came to the attention of Los Angeles County child welfare authorities in November 1970, when she was 13 years and 7 months old, after which she became a ward of the state of California.

The 1930’s Dust Bowl | Marks Unexplained World (Ep. 124)
The 1930s Dust Bowl was the result of a period of severe dust storms that greatly damaged the ecology and agriculture of the American and Canadian prairies.
The phenomenon was caused by a combination of natural factors (severe drought) and human-made factors: a failure to apply dryland farming methods to prevent wind erosion, most notably the destruction of the natural topsoil by settlers in the region.
The drought came in three waves: 1934, 1936, and 1939 to 1940, but some regions of the High Plains experienced drought conditions for as long as eight years.

The Shag Harbour UFO | Marks Unexplained World (Ep. 123)
The Shag Harbour UFO incident was the reported impact of an unknown large object into waters near Shag Harbour, Nova Scotia, a tiny fishing village on the Atlantic coast, on 4 October 1967.
The reports were investigated by various Canadian civilian (RCMP and Canadian Coast Guard) and military (Canadian Forces navy and air force) agencies as well as the U.S. Condon Committee.
The Chronicle-Herald and local radio stations reported a glowing object that was seen by many people who called their newsroom.
They reported witnessing strange glowing objects flying around Halifax at around 10:00 pm.

They all lived on a farm near Boorowa, New South Wales.

What Happened to the Springfield Three | Marks Unexplained World (Ep. 121)
The Springfield Three refers to an unsolved missing persons case that began on June 7, 1992, when friends Suzanne "Suzie" Streeter and Stacy McCall, and Streeter's mother, Sherrill Levitt, went missing from Levitt's home in Springfield, Missouri, United States.
All of their personal belongings, including cars and purses, were left behind.
There were no signs of a struggle except a broken porch light globe; there was also a message on the answering machine that police believe might have provided a clue about the disappearances, but it was inadvertently erased.

The Death of Naya Rivera | Marks Unexplained World (Ep. 120)
On July 8, 2020, American actress and singer Naya Rivera was declared missing after she failed to return from a boating excursion on Lake Piru near her home in California.
Shortly afterwards, her rented boat with her 4-year-old son, Josey Dorsey, was located. Dorsey was unharmed.
After her body was found, her death was ruled accidental, with the investigation determining Rivera exhausted herself saving her son's life in the water.
The public manner of the search and Rivera's celebrity status contributed to extensive media attention on developments before and after she was found.
